Stage Light is a Boston, MA-based alt-pop / indie rock band crafting melody-forward songs built on clean vocals and emotionally grounded songwriting.
The project is led by songwriter and guitarist Doug MacDonald, whose 25+ years of experience across bands and solo work bring a seasoned perspective to Stage Light’s focused, modern sound, subtly influenced by ’60s-era songwriting.
Their 2026 release Stage Light has begun gaining early traction, including college radio airplay, as the band builds momentum through recorded releases and prepares to expand into live performances across Boston and the New England area.
